The brief was to create a compact coffee table that could work comfortably in a smaller living space while providing more flexibility when needed. The lift-top needed to feel natural in use, without compromising the simplicity and character of the piece.
03 — OUR APPROACH
A solid hardwood table was built with a concealed lift mechanism that allows the working surface to rise when needed. The proportions were kept deliberately compact, with the joinery and angled supports giving the piece a light, architectural character while retaining everyday practicality.
