The client wanted to make the staircase safer and better defined without closing off the space. The solution needed to maintain the flow of natural light, complement the existing interior and feel as though it had always been part of the home.
03 — OUR APPROACH
A custom oak slatted divider was designed and precisely installed to create a visual boundary while keeping the landing open and airy. Careful spacing, clean detailing and a natural timber finish transformed the staircase into a functional architectural feature that blends seamlessly with the surrounding interior.
